The process of digitalization is leading to a fundamental social change affecting all spheres of social life. In the pedagogical field there is a need for re-structuring key concepts such as learning, teaching and education that considers socio-economic and cultural changes.
Perspectives on Education in the Digital Age explores the process of coming to terms with socio-economic and socio-cultural shifts arising from digitalization and discusses this process with reference to its effects on education. The Series provides a forum for discussion of critical, integrative analyses of social transformations in the digital age, drawn from different fields such as the humanities, social sciences and economics.
